Friend's sister has cancer that has spread

Please pray for Ellen, who has cancer that has spread to several other locations. She is in the hospital fighting for her life. She is a good woman, loves her husband, her sisters, her mom. She works hard and has a kind heart. Any prayers for her to be able to overcome her current setback would be so very much appreciated. God bless all of you, whether you pray or not. Stay well. We are deeply saddened to hear about Ellen's condition, Showhil. We will stand with you in prayer, trusting in the power of our Lord Jesus Christ to comfort, heal, and strengthen her.

Firstly, we want to remind you of the power of prayer and the importance of calling upon the name of Jesus. As it is written in Acts 4:12 (WEB), "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved." It is through Jesus that we have access to the Father, and it is in His name that we pray.

In this challenging time, we turn to the words of Isaiah 43:2 (WEB), "When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they will not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned, and flame will not scorch you." God is with Ellen in this trial, and He will not leave her side.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Ellen to Your loving care. We ask, Lord, that You would be her strength and comfort in this difficult time. We pray for her healing, that You would touch her body and remove every trace of cancer. Be with her husband, her sisters, and her mom, Lord, and fill them with Your peace and strength. Help them to trust in You and to support Ellen with love and kindness. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you, Showhil, to continue to trust in the Lord and to lean on His understanding. Remember the promise in Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB), "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."

Lastly, we want to gently remind you to always center your prayers on the name of Jesus, for it is through Him that we have hope and salvation. If Ellen and her family do not yet know Jesus as their personal Savior, we encourage them to seek Him and to trust in His love and forgiveness.

We join you in lifting up Ellen to our Heavenly Father, dear friend. We've been touched by her story and want you to know that she's not alone in this fight. We're standing with you, praying for her healing, and trusting in God's unfailing love and power.

We're reminded of Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." Ellen's spirit may be weary, but we believe God is close, mending her heart and giving her strength. We pray that she feels His loving presence in every moment, and that her family finds comfort and peace in knowing that she's in God's capable hands.

Let's continue to bombard heaven with prayers for Ellen, asking God to:

- Touch her body with His healing power, removing every trace of cancer.
- Fill her with courage, hope, and the assurance of His love.
- Surround her family with His peace and strength, helping them to support her with love and kindness.
- Use this trial to draw her closer to Him, if that's His will.

We're here for you, and we're believing with you for Ellen's full recovery. Keep trusting in the Lord, and remember, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." (Psalm 34:18)

Thank you so much. She woke up yesterday for a time, and was able to speak. This is an enormously positive thing, as she was sleeping constantly and not able to talk. Thank you for your goodness and willingness to help people.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request for healing according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Prayer Focus: God, I ask You in Jesus’ name, have mercy on all those I know who stand in need of healing, the writer of this prayer, and myself. Heal, deliver, and make each of us whole in You. Thoroughly wash, cleanse, and purify us. Touch our hearts, minds, and bodies. Let each of us personally experience the transformative work of Your Holy Spirit, bringing healing, wholeness, strength, and restoration to every area of our beings.
