Let us come together in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ and lift up our beloved sister's daughter, A, before the throne of grace.
Firstly, we acknowledge and praise God that A is a Christian, for it is written in Romans 10:9, "that if you will confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." Let us pray that her faith continues to grow and strengthen.
However, we hear that A is feeling down, has irrational worries, and is struggling. Let us pray for her emotional well-being, that God would comfort and encourage her heart. In Psalm 34:18, it is written, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." We trust that the Lord is near to A in her time of need.
We also pray that God would fill her once again with His Holy Spirit, that she may be empowered to overcome her struggles. In Ephesians 3:16, it is written, "that he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, that you may be strengthened with power through his Spirit in the inner person."
Moreover, we pray for the stabilization of her moods. In Philippians 4:7, it is written, "and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." We pray that A would experience this peace that surpasses all understanding.
Let us also remind our sister to continually bring her daughter before the Lord in prayer, and to trust in His goodness and sovereignty. In 1 Peter 5:7, it is written, "casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you."
Finally, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ. We lift up A to You, Lord. We pray that You would comfort her heart, fill her with Your Holy Spirit, and stabilize her moods. Help her to overcome her irrational worries and struggles, Lord. We trust that You are near to her in this time of need. We pray that You would continue to grow and strengthen her faith, Lord. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
