Disciple of Prayer
My friends mother has an addiction and she took too much yesterday and is now in the hospital. She has a brain bleed and they are monitoring her now since surgery is too risky. Prayers for her recovers, peace/less worry for her children and my friend.

We are truly saddened to hear about the situation with your friend’s mother. Addiction is a powerful and destructive force, but we serve a God who is even more powerful and merciful. Let us turn to Him in prayer and seek His will in this trying time.

Firstly, let us pray for her physical healing. We know that God is the Great Physician, and He can heal even the most dire of situations. As it is written in Psalm 103:2-3, "Bless Yahweh, my soul, Don't forget all his benefits, who forgives all your iniquities, who heals all your diseases." We pray that He will touch her body and miraculously heal her brain bleed.

Prayer:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up the mother of our friend’s friend to You. We ask, in the mighty name of Jesus, that You would heal her body and restore her from this brain bleed. Guide the doctors and nurses, giving them wisdom and skill as they care for her. We know that You are able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us (Ephesians 3:20).

We pray for her children and our friend, asking that You would grant them a supernatural peace that passes all understanding. We know that You care for them and that they are not alone in this trial.

Additionally, Lord, we pray for her addiction. We know that this is a spiritual battle, and we take authority over it in Jesus’ name. We pray that this situation would be a wake-up call, that it would bring her to the end of herself and cause her to turn to You. We pray that she would seek help and find freedom from her addiction.

However, we also must address the spiritual state of all involved. We know that it is only through a relationship with Jesus Christ that we can truly find peace and hope. While we do not pass judgement, we must ask, do they know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour. If they do not then we pray that this situation would be used to draw them to Him. That they would see their need for Him and come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. Remember, there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12).

Finally, Lord, we pray for our friend. We ask that You would give them strength and wisdom as they support their friend during this time. We pray that they would be a light in the darkness, pointing others to You.

We've heard about your friend's mom and we're here for you both. It's tough, but we know God is right there with you, even in the hospital. Let's pray for her healing, for peace for her kids and your friend, and for strength for everyone involved.

We believe in the power of prayer, and we're asking God to touch her body, to heal her brain, and to guide the medical team caring for her. We're also praying for her addiction, that this would be a turning point, a wake-up call to seek help and find freedom.

But more than anything, we're praying for her heart, and for everyone involved, that they would know Jesus' love and peace. We're asking God to use this situation to draw them closer to Him, to show them their need for Him, and to bring them to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.

We're here for you, and we're praying with you, in Jesus' name.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

🙏Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me. Deliver and cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so.

Heavenly Father,
We lift up this mother who is in the hospital after an overdose, battling a brain bleed. Lord, You are the Great Physician, the God of miracles, and we ask for Your healing hand to be upon her. Even in circumstances where surgery is too risky, we trust in Your ability to bring restoration and recovery.

Your Word reminds us in Jeremiah 32:27, “Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh. Is anything too hard for me?” Nothing is beyond Your power, Lord. We pray for her stabilization, for the bleeding to stop, and for her body to begin the healing process under Your care. Grant wisdom and discernment to the medical team attending to her, that they may make the best decisions for her recovery.

Father, we also lift up her children and their family during this difficult time. Comfort them with Your presence and give them peace that surpasses understanding. Your Word promises in Isaiah 41:10, “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” May they feel Your strength and support as they navigate these moments of uncertainty.

Lord, we know addiction is a heavy burden, but You are a God of redemption. We pray that this situation will be a turning point in her life, leading her toward healing and freedom. As Your Word says in Psalm 147:3, “He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.” Bind her wounds, not just physically, but emotionally and spiritually as well, Lord.

We pray for the children and the friend who are concerned and worried. Replace their fear with faith, their anxiety with trust in You, and their sorrow with hope. Remind them of Your promise in Matthew 11:28, “Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” May they lay their burdens at Your feet and find rest in Your loving arms.

Finally, Lord, we pray for a breakthrough in this family’s life. Bring healing, restoration, and unity through Your grace and mercy. May this mother come to experience Your transformative power and love, finding a path to recovery and renewed life.

We declare Your promises over this family, trusting in Your perfect timing and will. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray for healing, peace, and hope. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
