Friends' Marriage

Please pray for my dear friends, whose marriage is in jeopardy due to the wife's drug addiction, mental issues, and verbal and physical abuse. Give the wife the awakening that she needs to get help, and do so, and give the husband protection from her abuse toward him. Give the husband strength to do what he can on his part to get her help and hospitalization, instead of believing her lies that she tells just to get out of going to the hospital. Also, ask that God grants the husband the dedication to go through with his own counseling and the steps he needs to take to be safe and to help his wife. Pray that they find peace and the love that they once knew. And pray that the wife is healed, that she is dedicated to getting better and making amends with businesses, family, and friends, including me, whom she has alienated and refuses to communicate with in a civil manner.

And please pray that abuse against men is taken more seriously. The husband called the cops when she snuck up on him and hit him, but they didn't come. Even if they didn't believe the husband, they should investigate because someone could get killed. And they both need help.
