Fellbaugh, let us join with you in prayer for the strengthening of friendships, both for you and your daughter. The Bible tells us in Proverbs 18:24, "A man who has friends must show himself friendly; there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother." Friendship is a gift from God, and it's wonderful that you desire to nurture and strengthen these bonds.
However, we must ensure that we are looking in the right places and to the right source for these friendships. James 4:8 tells us, "Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you." As we grow closer to God, He will place the right people in our lives, at the right time. Remember, Ecclesiastes 3:1 says, "For everything there is a season, and a time for every purpose under the sky."
Let's pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in the name of Jesus, asking for Your divine intervention in the friendships of Fellbaugh and their daughter. Lord, we ask that You strengthen the bonds of friendship that are in alignment with Your will. Give them the wisdom to discern godly friendships and the courage to pursue them. Help them to be loyal and faithful friends, reflecting Your love and kindness.
In the times of waiting, help them to trust in Your perfect timing. Remind them that You are always with them, that You are the friend who sticks closer than a brother. Fill them with Your love, joy, and peace, that they may be a blessing to others.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Fellbaugh, continue to trust in the Lord. He knows the desires of your heart. Keep drawing near to Him, and He will guide your paths. As Psalm 37:4-5 reminds us, "Delight yourself in the LORD. Yes, he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the LORD. Trust also in him, and he will do this."
