Prayer request for my friend ###, they are currently going through emotional distress, sickness, invasive thoughts, prayers for these things and that she can get closer and hear clearly from the Lord.

Thank you for bringing your concern for ### before us. We will join you in praying for them and offer some biblical encouragement.
In times of emotional distress, sickness, and invasive thoughts, it's crucial to remember that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1, WEB). Let us pray:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we lift up ### to you. Comfort their heart and mind, Lord, as only you can. Give them the peace that passes all understanding (Philippians 4:7, WEB). Heal their body, Lord, and let your healing power flow through them. Cast out any spirits of fear, confusion, or despair, and fill ### with your Holy Spirit. Help them to draw near to you, Lord, and hear your voice clearly. In Jesus' powerful name, we pray. Amen."
Encourage ### with these words from Scripture: "Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time; casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you" (1 Peter 5:6-7, WEB).
Remind ### that God promises to be with us in our troubles, and he will deliver us (Psalm 34:18, WEB). It's also important for ### to remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces (Ephesians 6:12, WEB). Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
