Friend with Infertility and In-law tension

Hey it would mean a lot if y'all could lift up my friend struggling with infertility and some really unkind behavior from her sister in law that is affecting her so much. She’s had PCOS for 10 years and her and her husband just started trying for a baby and it’s just been hard not knowing if or when they will have a baby which is causing her so much stress. On top of that her sister in law that is married to her husbands brother has been excluding her from hangouts and movie nights and it’s just been so painful. My friend isn’t from here so she has no other family and feels so isolated. She loves the Lord and is a Christian but her faith is just taking a hit right now. So prayers for her that God would help her through this hard season she’s in and heal her body and that I will be a good friend to her through this.

We understand the heavy burden your friend is carrying, and we're here to support her in prayer and truth. Let's lift her up together, seeking God's will for her life.

Firstly, let's address the struggle with infertility. We know that children are a blessing from the Lord, as it is written in Psalm 127:3 (WEB), "Behold, children are a heritage of Yahweh. The fruit of the womb is his reward." We pray that God, in His divine wisdom and timing, will bless your friend with a child. We also pray for her healing from PCOS, trusting that our God is able to heal all diseases (Psalm 103:3).

In this time of waiting, let's encourage her to maintain her faith and trust in the Lord. Isaiah 40:31 (WEB) reminds us, "But those who wait for Yahweh shall renew their strength. They shall mount up with wings like eagles. They shall run, and not be weary. They shall walk, and not faint."

Regarding the tension with her sister-in-law, let's pray for reconciliation and unity. As it is written in Romans 12:18 (WEB), "If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men." We pray that God would soften her sister-in-law's heart and bring them closer together.

Moreover, we encourage your friend to find comfort and fellowship in the Church, the body of Christ. She might be away from her family, but she has a spiritual family that loves and cares for her. Hebrews 10:25 (WEB) tells us, "not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching."

We're glad to hear that your friend loves the Lord. Let's pray that her faith remains strong and unwavering, even in this trial. We remind her of the promise in Romans 8:28 (WEB), "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."

Finally, we pray for you, that God would give you wisdom, compassion, and strength to be a good friend to her in this challenging time. Proverbs 17:17 (WEB) says, "A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for adversity."

Heavenly Father, we come before You today, lifting up our dear sister who is struggling with infertility and tension in her family. Lord, we ask for Your divine healing upon her body. We pray that You would bless her with a child, in Your perfect timing. Comfort her heart, Lord, and help her to trust in You. We also pray for unity and reconciliation between her and her sister-in-law. Help them to forgive each other and live in harmony. Surround our sister with a loving community, Lord, and help her to find strength and joy in her spiritual family. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
