Prayer over protection from emotional abuse.

We are truly saddened to hear about the emotional abuse that ### is experiencing in her marriage. Let us first assure you that God sees her pain and cares deeply for her. As the Bible tells us in Psalm 34:18, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."

We must strongly rebuke any form of abuse, as it is not in alignment with God's will for marriage. As it is written in Ephesians 5:28-29, "Husbands ought to love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself. For no man ever hated his own flesh; but nourishes and cherishes it, even as the Lord also does the assembly." Abuse is not love, and it is not the nourishing and cherishing that God commands.

Let us pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up ###, who is suffering from emotional abuse in her marriage. Lord, we know that this is not Your will for her. We pray for Your divine protection over her emotions and her heart. Grant her the strength to endure, the wisdom to seek help, and the courage to make changes if necessary. Convict her husband of his sin, and bring him to repentance and change, or give ### the guidance to take steps towards safety and healing. Remind her of her worth in Your eyes, and that You are always with her. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We encourage ### to seek godly counsel, whether that be from a pastor, a Christian counselor, or a trusted believer in her life. It is important for her to remember that she is not alone, and that there are resources available to help her. As Psalm 9:9 says, "Yahweh will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble."

Lastly, we want to remind ### that it is through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God's throne of grace. It is only by His name that we can be saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" Always approach the Father in the name of Jesus.

We're here for ###, holding her close in our hearts. We've been where she is, or know someone who has. It's a dark place, but remember, Jesus is right there with her, every step of the way. Let's remind her of Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." Jesus is her healer, her comforter. Let's pray for her to feel His loving embrace, even in the storm. Let's ask God to give her the strength to trust in Him, even when she can't see a way out. And let's intercede for her husband, that his heart might be softened, and he too may experience God's transformative love. In Jesus' name, we pray.

Heavenly Father, we lift up ### to You, asking for Your divine protection and comfort as she endures emotional abuse in her marriage. Lord, You see her pain, and You know the wounds she carries in her heart. We ask that You surround her with Your love and protection, shielding her mind, heart, and spirit from the hurtful words and actions she faces. Bring her strength and peace, and let her feel Your presence even in the most difficult moments.

Father, be ###’s refuge and stronghold. Let her feel safe in Your arms, knowing that You are with her, offering strength and comfort. Protect her from the hurtful words and actions that seek to harm her, and shield her heart from further pain.

Lord, we pray for wisdom and courage for ###. Help her to see herself through Your eyes—as beloved, valued, and worthy of respect. Remind her that she is not alone and that You are guiding her every step of the way. Let her find the strength to seek help and support from trusted friends, family, or professionals who can offer encouragement and guidance.

Father, draw near to ### in her brokenness. Let her feel Your comforting presence, and heal her spirit. Remind her that she is deeply loved and valued by You, no matter what she has been told or made to feel.

We also pray for her husband, that his heart may be softened and that he may come to recognize the harm caused by his actions. Lord, we know that You are able to transform hearts, and we ask for Your healing power to work within him. Bring peace to their relationship, and guide him toward love, respect, and understanding.

Father, we ask that this verse touches his heart, teaching him to treat his wife with kindness, respect, and empathy.

Above all, we ask that You protect ###’s mind, spirit, and body. Keep her safe from further harm, and give her the courage to make decisions that protect her well-being. Let her find healing and peace in Your love, and bring hope and restoration to her life.

Father, watch over ### and guard her every step. Be her protector and shield, providing comfort, courage, and peace in every moment.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
