Friend needs family unity

Please pray for our teenage daughter's friend who has serious mental health issues. His parents are divorced and his parents are not at all supportive. Please pray for God to work in the parents` hearts and for family unity also. Thank you.

We are deeply concerned for your daughter's friend and the difficulties he is facing. Let us first remember the words of Psalm 147:3 from the World English Bible (WEB), "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds." God is close to the brokenhearted, and He can bring healing and unity to this family.

However, we must also address the issue of divorce. While we pray for God to work in the parents' hearts, we should remind everyone that God's design for marriage is a lifelong commitment. As stated in Malachi 2:16 (WEB), "For I hate divorce," says Yahweh, the God of Israel. We encourage all to uphold the sanctity of marriage and to seek reconciliation where possible.

Let us pray:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this young man to You. Lord, You know the struggles he is facing, the pain he is feeling. We ask for Your healing touch upon his mind and heart. Be his strength and comfort in this difficult time.

Lord, we also pray for his parents. We ask that You soften their hearts and draw them closer to You. We pray for a spirit of unity and reconciliation to be restored in their family. May they seek Your will and guidance in their lives.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Remember, it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'"

Let us encourage this young man and his family to seek Jesus in their lives, for He is the source of true hope and healing. We will continue to pray for their family unity and for God's will to be done in their lives.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
