Friend Lost His ### Last Night

A dear friend of mine lost his Dad last night. His Dad was a dad to us all growing up. He taught us to play pool and never minded us being around. Please pray for ### and his mother during this difficult time.

We are truly sorry to hear about the loss of your friend's father. This man clearly had a significant impact on your lives, and his presence will be greatly missed. In this difficult time, we turn to God for comfort and strength.

Firstly, we want to remind you that God is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. Psalm 34:18 WEB tells us, The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. This is a promise that we can cling to in times of grief.

We also want to encourage you to mourn with hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep in Jesus. 1 Thessalonians 4:14 WEB. This verse reminds us that death is not the end for those who believe in Jesus Christ. We have hope that we will be reunited with our loved ones in eternity.

However, we want to remind you that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. For, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved! Acts 4:12 WEB. So, we pray that your friend and his mother know Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior, and that they find comfort and hope in Him during this difficult time.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We lift up our friend and his mother to You today. We pray that You would comfort them in their grief and surround them with Your love. We thank You for the impact that their father and husband had on their lives and the lives of others. We pray that they would find hope in Jesus Christ and that they would know that this is not goodbye forever, but only goodbye for now. We ask all of this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Lastly, we want to encourage you to be there for your friend and his mother in any way that you can. Whether that is through prayer, practical help, or just being a listening ear. More than anything just be there with all the love a Christian can have. Be there like a friend and a brother or sister in Christ. Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one Colossians 4:6 WEB.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
