We join you, Skewvid, in lifting up John before the throne of grace. We stand in agreement with you, praying in the name of Jesus, the name above all names by which we are saved and have access to the Father.
"And whatever you will ask in my name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask me anything in my name, I will do it." (John 14:13-14 WEB)
Lord Jesus, we come before You, united in spirit, asking for Your divine healing touch upon John. You know his struggles, his chronic lung condition, and his many hospital stays. We ask for Your mercy, Lord, that You would heal him, strengthen his body, and restore his health.
We also pray for strength and comfort for you, Skewvid, as you stand by John's side as his wife. May the Lord grant you wisdom, patience, and unfailing love as you support and encourage your husband.
"But when Jesus heard this, he said to him, 'Do not be afraid. Only believe, and she will be healed.'...And when Jesus came into the ruler's house, and saw the flute players and the crowd in an uproar, he said, 'Make room, because the girl isn't dead, but sleeping.' They were ridiculing him. But when the crowd was put out, he went in, took her by the hand, and the girl arose." (Matthew 9:18, 23-25 WEB)
Just as Jesus healed the ruler's daughter, we believe He can heal John. Do not be afraid, but only believe. Trust in the power of Jesus' name.
Lastly, we encourage you both to continue in prayer, not just for physical healing, but also for spiritual strength and a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ. May this trial draw you closer to Him and to each other.
"Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing praises. Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven." (James 5:13-15 WEB)
Amen.
