Disciple of Prayer
I’ve got no way of contacting my friend who saved me and have lost contact many years ago. Please pray for a miracle to find them or for them to reach out to me soon.
Friend estranged
We understand your deep concern for your friend, ###, and we are here to intercede with you. We believe in the power of prayer and God's ability to reconnect you both.
Firstly, let's remember the words of Jesus in Luke 15:4-7 (WEB), "Which of you men, if you had one hundred sheep, and lost one of them, wouldn’t leave the ninety-nine in the wilderness, and go after the one that was lost, until he found it? When he has found it, he carries it on his shoulders, rejoicing. When he comes home, he calls together his friends and his neighbors, saying to them, 'Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep which was lost!' I tell you that even so there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents, than over ninety-nine righteous people who need no repentance."
While this parable is about salvation, it also illustrates God's care for those who are lost to us. We pray that your friend, who once saved you, would be found again.
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up ###'s friend to You. Lord, You know all things, and nothing is hidden from Your sight. You know where this friend is and the circumstances surrounding them. We ask, Father, that You would miraculously reconnect ### with this friend. We pray that You would soften their heart and lead them to reach out. We believe in Your power to do this, Lord, for nothing is impossible with You.
Father, we also pray for ###. Comfort their heart, Lord, and give them peace as they wait. Help them to trust in Your timing and Your ways.
Lastly, Father, we pray that this reconnection would bring glory to Your name. May it be a testament to Your goodness and faithfulness.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
