We are saddened to hear about Tony Ownby's battle with metastatic cancer. Let us come together in prayer and support for him during this challenging time.
Firstly, let us remember the words of the Apostle Paul in 2 Corinthians 12:9-10 (WEB), "Most gladly therefore I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me. Therefore I take pleasure in weaknesses, in injuries, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then am I strong."
In times of illness and weakness, we can find strength in Christ. Let us pray for Tony, that he may experience the comfort and strength of Jesus during this trial.
**Prayer:**
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up Tony Ownby in prayer. Lord, we ask for Your divine healing over his body. If it is Your will, please remove this cancer and restore his health. We pray for strength and comfort for him during this difficult time. Help him to know Your presence and to trust in You with all his heart. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We also encourage Tony to lean on the promises of God's Word. In Isaiah 41:10 (WEB), the Lord says, "Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."
Lastly, we would like to remind Whipvid, if you have not already, to make sure Tony knows the love and hope found in Jesus Christ. It is only through Him that we have access to God and can find eternal salvation. As it is written in Acts 4:12 (WEB), "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
Let us continue to pray and support Tony during this time.
