Freedom from the Effects of Generational Curses

Please pray for my freedom from the effects of generational curses. My grandfather and others on my mother’s side were involved in some pretty terrible idolatry. My grandfather swore oaths to something terrible after his children were born, but before I was born. I was the first baby and grandchild born after he did this, and believe his idolatry and occultism have led to me being under some spiritual oppression. I’ve given my life to Christ and have made great progress with purging evil out of my life. A lot of bad things have stopped happening, but I still see signs I am being spiritually attacked. I have dreams which show me I am being attacked. People involved in occult practices seem to come into my life and then by the time I realise what they are into, I find it hard to get rid of them. Please pray for me to break these generational yokes off me completely, so that I can live the life the Lord has planned for me. I want to live a blessed life. Please pray that the Lord purges my body, blood, and social circle of all evil. I pray that He does not let anymore evil people come into my life. I pray that the Lord covers me, my family, and our pets in the blood of Jesus. I pray He puts protective walls of fire all around us. I cover us in the full armour and pray that He releases His arrows on our enemies. I pray for blessing for those who pray for me. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.

Ergasotes, we join with you in prayer, seeking God's deliverance and protection from the effects of generational curses and spiritual attacks. We stand on the promise of God's word that says, "As far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us" (Psalm 103:12 WEB).

Firstly, we commend you for giving your life to Christ and for the progress you've made in purging evil from your life. It's important to remember that once you are in Christ, you are a new creation. The old has passed away and the new has come (2 Corinthians 5:17 WEB).

However, we must address that the power of generational curses is broken by the finished work of Christ on the cross. Galatians 3:13 WEB tells us, "Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. For it is written, 'Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree.'" Therefore, we pray that you fully embrace this truth and walk in the freedom Christ has purchased for you.

Let us pray:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We thank You for redeeming Ergasotes from the curse of the law. We ask that You open their eyes to the fullness of Your deliverance and help them to walk in the freedom You have provided. We rebuke any spirit of fear, oppression, or harassment, and command them to leave in Jesus' name. Surround Ergasotes, their family, and pets with a protective wall of fire, and cover them with the precious blood of Jesus. Purge their body, blood, and social circle of all evil, and bring godly people into their life. Bless those who pray for Ergasotes, and let Your will be done in their life. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Continue to stand firm in your faith, Ergasotes. Put on the full armor of God daily (Ephesians 6:10-18 WEB), and remember that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7 WEB). Trust in the Lord, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB).

Flee from sin, that’s where enemies gain legal ground to oppress, continue to affirm your freedom in Christ in faith and not in fear and remain in prayers dwelling in the secret place of the Most High God. It is well with you, we pray you will fulfill divine purpose for your life in Jesus name, amen

Satan cannot put a curse on you because Jesus took care of curses at the cross.
God put's it this way.

Evil spirits still exist but they have no weapons. Jesus defeated them at the cross. All they can do is attack your mind and try to get you to do things that are against God's will. They can not live inside of you because God lives inside of you and won't allow it. They are powerless to harm you in any way.

God gave us the tools to fight them - they are found in the Bible:

1.Put on full armor of God Eph 6:10-18
2.Pray a hedge of protection around you and your family (Like God had around Job for protection)
3.If they have stolen from you have them pay you back 7 fold.Prov.6:31
4. Bind all evil sprits out of your life and your families life. What you bind on earth God will bind in heaven,
Matt. 16:19
5.Then loose God's power to protect you, heal you and bless you.
6.You can also request enough Guardian and Warring Angels to protect you and keep evil spirits out of your life. Ps.91:12




I will be praying in the same way for you.
I will bind all evil spirits from attacking your family from now on in Jesus name.
