We stand with you, Pelrun, in prayer for your son Gerald's release from behind bars, believing in the power of Jesus Christ to make a way where there seems to be no way. We are reminded of the scripture in Luke 1:37 WEB, "For nothing is impossible with God."
Let us pray together:
"Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, seeking your divine intervention in Gerald's life. Lord, we know however long the prison bars, Your love is longer, and Your power is stronger to break every chain that binds. Lord, we truly believe that You alone are the One 'who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think'(Ephesians 3:20 WEB). Today, we ask God, that You work in a miraculous way to bring about his release. Who is the King of glory but the LORD of hosts; He is the King of glory. Selah.' Psalm 24:10 WEB. Abba Father, we acknowledge Your sovereignty and Your power to turn the heart of the king like a river. Proverbs 21:1 WEB. Gerald's freedom is nothing for You to speak into existence. Have him released today or whenever You choose that will bring the best outcome for Gerald. We ask too that You will stir a desire in the hearts of Gerald and his family to the knowledge of Jesus and salvation. We receive it by faith and will give You the glory and the honor in Jesus' almighty name. We will continue to study Your word and abide in You until we see and believe the fulfillment of this prayer with our eyes. Will will not doubt even when we do not see it yet."
Pelrun, we encourage you to remain steadfast in your faith and hope, knowing that God is faithful. Remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 18:19-20 WEB, "Again, assuredly I tell you, that if two of you will agree on earth concerning anything that they will ask, it will be done for them by my Father who is in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the midst of them."
We also encourage you to be mindful that God's ways are not always our ways and His timing is always perfect. While we and you are asking for a physical freedom, though we don't often think of this, freedom in Christ as a heart change gives us salvation and bestows everlasting life. God may grant Gerald's freedom today, or He may have a greater purpose in this journey. As you intercede on behalf of your son, should God begin to correct you in any possible wrong motives also be open to His correction. Trust that God is working everything out for your son's good and His glory. Seek God's comfort in His word like in Psalms 142:7 WEB: "Bring my soul out of prison, that I may praise your name. The righteous will surround me, for you will be good to me."
While Gerald is soon to be released let us also pray further for his heart's desire to seek for God and to honor God in all their ways. Let them both know that believers are to trust God and to conduct themselves in a Christ-like manner
Lastly, while we wait the answer to this request let us pray Pelrun for your steadfastness in believeing God and staying true to His directives. Let the following scripture share with you the reassurance of God never leaving you nor forsaking you . Hebrews 13:5 WEB says, " Be free from the love of money, content with such things as you have, for he has said, βI will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake youβ.
