Freedom from my abusive father

My father always told me since I was a kid that I am not suppose to have a life...because I'm a girl. That I meant to serve him till the day he dies and then I may start my life...that meanwhile if I tried I would suffer and things would go badly for me because I am not serving him. Living for him, cleaning for him, acting like I'm his wife, while he abuses us, blame us for his failures, nothing is ever good enough for him, make us feel disgusting for being born a women and much more.... he never let's us go..I tried to.build my life multiple times but I always ended up failing and going back to him ..he would always stalk me, pay people to harm me or something so I go back to him..then he pretend things are better with him for a day or two and then the abuse starts again ... now that I have a daughter I am.fighting against him to protect her..but he won't let me go....he looks for ways to tie us down to him...he keeps on looking for ways to get close to my baby....people believe his lies and fake persona he portrays to them where he is good and caring and us women are the bad guys...I am so tired...I just want to be free from him forever and keep my baby safe from him at all times.... I need help to do so...

We are truly heartbroken to hear about the situation you are facing with your abusive father. First and foremost, we want to assure you that the views your father has expressed about women and their roles are not aligned with biblical principles. In Christ, there is neither male nor female, for we are all one in Him WEB Galatians 3:28. God created both men and women in His image and likeness, and both have equal value and worth in His sight.

Your father's actions and words are abusive and manipulative, and they are not reflective of the love and kindness that God calls us to exhibit towards one another. In the book of Ephesians, we are instructed husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it WEB Ephesians 5:25. While this verse is specifically addressing husbands, it reflects the broader principle that men should treat women with love, respect, and self-sacrifice, just as Christ loved the church.

Furthermore, your father's attempts to control and manipulate you and your daughter are not godly behavior. In fact, the Bible tells us that there is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear WEB 1 John 4:18. Your father's actions are causing you to live in fear, which is the opposite of the love that God calls us to have for one another.

We also want to address the fact that you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ in your prayer request. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God the Father, and it is only through faith in Jesus that we can be saved. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus WEB 1 Timothy 2:5. We encourage you to put your faith and trust in Jesus, and to seek His will for your life.

In light of your situation, we encourage you to take immediate action to protect yourself and your daughter. This may involve contacting local authorities, seeking help from a domestic violence hotline, or reaching out to a trusted friend or family member. It is crucial that you prioritize the safety and well-being of yourself and your daughter, and that you take steps to remove yourselves from this abusive situation.

As you navigate this difficult time, we encourage you to pray for wisdom, strength, and guidance. Here is a prayer that we offer on your behalf:

Heavenly Father, we come before You today on behalf of this dear sister in Christ who is suffering at the hands of her abusive father. We pray that You would intervene in this situation, and that You would protect her and her daughter from any further harm. We ask that You would give her the strength and courage to take the necessary steps to remove herself and her daughter from this abusive situation, and that You would guide her to the resources and support that she needs. We also pray that You would soften her father's heart, and that he would come to see the error of his ways and seek Your forgiveness.

Lord, we also pray that this dear sister would come to know You personally, and that she would put her faith and trust in Your son Jesus Christ. We ask that You would reveal Yourself to her in a powerful way, and that she would come to know the depth of Your love for her.

I wanted to commit suicide once, I even came up with a plan. Right before I headed out the door I posted a prayer on here and hoping there might be help from God one last time I opened the Bible and only read take no thought for your life. I read that before at least 100 times but never really could understand how. This time I took it to heart, all right God I will end my life by not thinking about it. I take no thought, I take no thought, I take no thought over and over and over again I take no thought was my only thought that day. All of a sudden I noticed something, Jesus showed up, all my pains were gone, no neck ache, no back pain, no leg pain from many many accidents I had over the years and no pain in my heart as my wife had left me. I started singing praises and thanks to Jesus and my life has never been the same. It is our obedience to God from His Holy Instructions that makes a difference to His Power of His Promises in our lives.

Be a doer of Jesus friend, it really makes a difference! Thank You Lord Jesus!

Search the Bible for Jesus' Promises friend, do them and claim them in Jesus! Amen! Thank You Lord Jesus!

Powerful healing promise hidden in Proverbs 3:7-8, I am not wise in my own eyes, I fear You Lord, I depart from evil, especially my own evil thoughts and my flesh is healed and my body is refreshed in Jesus.

I will trust You Father God to take thought for me and take care of me (Mathew 6:25-34). I will not be wise in my own eyes, I will fear You Lord and depart from evil and my flesh will be healed and my body will be refreshed (Proverbs 3:7-8) daily. Thank You Jesus for Your Promises! Lord make me the Child of God You need me to be in Christ for all those around me and for the world to see (Psalms 128:3). Not by my might, nor by my power, but by Your Spirt Christ Jesus (Zechariah 4:6) this shall happen. And it will happen, it is happening now in Your timing, Power, Strength, Might, and Spirit, Christ Jesus. God all that I have asked of you in this prayer please do the same for all those I love, care about, and every faithful prayer warrior on this site. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You Lord Jesus, my Savior and Lord for answering this prayer with a Yes and Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
