Dear brothers and sisters,
We come before you today in the name of Jesus, lifting up our dear brother RMathews and their prayer request. We thank you, Lord, for the privilege of prayer and for the assurance that you hear our cries.
Father, we ask that you pour out your abundant grace and mercy upon RMathews. We pray for their spiritual growth and for a deepening relationship with you. May they experience the joy and peace that comes from seeking your kingdom first and delighting in you.
Lord, we lift up the specific concerns and desires of RMathews' heart. We ask that you bring conversion to the unconverted, that hearts may be turned towards you and experience the transforming power of your love. We pray for those who are wavering in their faith, that they may find firmness and conviction in following you wholeheartedly.
Father, we also pray for the believers, that they may continue to grow in grace and in the knowledge of your truth. Strengthen them, Lord, in their walk with you, and help them to remain steadfast in their commitment to serve you and their generation.
We ask for protection against the schemes of the enemy. Grant us the wisdom to be watchful and prayerful, guarding our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Help us to resist the spirit of slumber and formality, and to approach you with sincerity and fervency in our private reading and praying.
Lord, we humbly ask for an increase in our prayer lives. May we all pray more and pray more earnestly. For those who have never prayed, we pray that they may begin to seek you in prayer, experiencing the power and intimacy of communing with you. And for those who have prayed, we ask that they may pray better, aligning their hearts with your will and seeking your guidance in all things.
Finally, Lord, we pray for ourselves and for RMathews. Help us to know you more deeply, to cleave to you, and to be kept from falling. Grant us sobriety in times of prosperity, patience in times of trial, and humility at all times. May our lives be a reflection of your love and grace.
We offer this prayer in the mighty name of Jesus, knowing that you are faithful to hear and answer. Amen.
