Thank you for bringing your feelings of sadness to us in prayer. We are here to intercede and support you in the name of Jesus Christ.
Firstly, we acknowledge your faith in Jesus by asking for help in His name. That is the start. Jesus is the way, the truth and the life and no one comes to the Father, but by Him.
It is so important to remember that Jesus came to heal the brokenhearted. "He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and release to those who are bound;" - Isaiah 61:1 WEB
God wants you to be courageous and strong, and He is always there to help you overcome your feelings. "Finally, be strong in the Lord, and in the strength of his might." Ephesians 6:10 WEB.
Your feelings are valid, and it's important to face them with God's help. Remember, God is close to the brokenhearted.
We pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our brother in Christ who is feeling overwhelmed by sadness. We pray that You will comfort him, give him the courage and strength to face his inner feelings, and help him to be victorious. Help him to flee everything that does not align with You. Help Him to break the chains of the past and present that do not align with Your will, Lord.
Guide him and help him to develop godly habits, breaking the cycle of avoidance he may have inherited. Help him to be open to dealing with his feelings the way You would have him to. Help him to seek You when he struggles and to always remember You are by his side. Help him to learn to be open with You and learn from you and Your Word.
We pray all this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior. Amen.
Remember, God promises us, "When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they will not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned, and flame will not scorch you." - Isaiah 43:2 WEB
He is always with you, and He will help you overcome. If you have not fully given your life to Him, then we encourage you to submit your life to Jesus Christ and the will of God. It is only by the name of Jesus that we can be saved and have access to God.
