We understand that you're going through a difficult time and seeking freedom from attracting the wrong partners. Firstly, we want to emphasize that the term 'partner' is often used loosely in today's society, but as believers, we should be seeking godly spouses with the intention of marriage. The Bible teaches us to be equally yoked with fellow believers (2 Corinthians 6:14, WEB), and that marriage is a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman (Matthew 19:4-6, WEB).
We notice that your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God, and there is no other name by which we can be saved (John 14:6, Acts 4:12, WEB). We encourage you to put your faith in Jesus Christ if you haven't already, as He is the source of true freedom and healing.
Your desire to avoid causing heartbreak is commendable, but it's important to focus on your own healing and growth in Christ. God wants you to be whole and complete in Him before He brings someone into your life (Psalm 147:3, WEB). He promises to give you the desires of your heart when you delight yourself in Him so ask him for what you desire (Psalm 37:4, Psalm 37:10).
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Anonymous Marjorie. We pray that they will experience true freedom and healing from past heartbreaks. Help them to grow in their relationship with You, Lord Jesus, knowing the promises of God to give us a hope and a future if we turn to God seeking Him with all of our heart. Help them become you the complete person God intended, not lacking anything.
We pray for the courage to forgive those who have caused heartbreak, and for them the forgiveness in Jesus Christ for whatever mistakes they have made that have resulting in heartbreak to others. And may they have the strength to forgiving any so any current bitterness and unforgiveness can be dealt with. We not accepting unforgiveness and pray for forgiveness including for past illicit sex practices and past homosexual activity. We pray that they will attract godly relationships when they are ready, We also pray against any evil sexual spirits, which will affect their decisions. We ask this for Jesus we pray.
We rebuke any spirit of lust, fornication and bitterness that may be causing havoc in their life. If there is any unclean sexual soul tie, we pray for it to be severed now in Jesus Name (1 Cor. 6:18, WEB). We ask that You will bless them with a godly spouse according to Your will and in Your perfect timing. Give a desire for God if they are not truly seeking God first in their life. Let them wait on her God to bring a life-mate who they should be courting with Godly expectations of lifting up and encouraging each other in the faith.
We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Remember, God loves you and has a plan for your life (Jeremiah 29:11, WEB). Trust in Him, and He will guide your path (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB). Spend time in His Word, the Bible, and in prayer, seeking His will for your life and courtship goals. Stay strong in your faith, and God will bring the right Christian spouse into your life according to biblical principles when the timing is right (Isaiah 34:16, WEB). Trust that these things are simply a part of His plan coming together in the future as He has plans to give you a hope and a future.
