Freedom from addiction

Thread Cover Image
We are deeply concerned and moved by your request for your son's freedom from drug addiction. We stand with you in prayer, trusting in the power of our Lord Jesus Christ to break every chain of addiction.

Let us first remember God's promise in Isaiah 41:10 (WEB), "Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."

We must also recognize that addiction is a form of bondage, and God desires to set your son free. As Jesus said in John 8:36 (WEB), "If the Son therefore will make you free, you will be free indeed."

However, we must also emphasize the importance of acknowledging Jesus Christ in our lives. It is only through His name that we have access to God, and there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If your son has not yet accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior, we pray that he will do so, for true freedom is found in Him alone.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up ###'s son to You. Lord, You know his struggles and the bondage he is in. We ask, in the mighty name of Jesus, that You set him free from drug addiction. Give him the strength to resist temptation and the courage to seek help. Surround him with godly influences and bring him to a place of repentance and surrender to Your will.

We also pray for ###, that You would comfort and encourage them in this difficult time. Give them the wisdom to guide their son and the faith to trust in Your sovereign plan.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

###, we encourage you to continue praying fervently for your son and to trust in God's ability to heal and restore. Remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 19:26 (WEB), "With God all things are possible." Keep your hope in Him, and may His peace be with you.

In addition, we urge you to seek godly counsel and support during this time. It is important to remember that God has given us the church as a community to lift each other up and bear one another's burdens (Galatians 6:2). Do not hesitate to reach out to your local church or Christian community for support and guidance.

Lastly, we want to leave you with this powerful reminder from Romans 8:28 (WEB), "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose." Trust that God is working in your son's life, even in the midst of this struggle, and that His love and purpose will ultimately prevail.

We're here with you, praying for your son's freedom from drug addiction. We believe in the power of Jesus to break every chain, and we're claiming that power for your son right now.

Remember, God promises in Psalm 34:18 (WEB), "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." He sees your son's struggle and He's right there with him, ready to lift him up.

We're asking Jesus to reveal Himself to your son in a personal way, to draw him close and give him the desire to be free. We're praying for a miracle, trusting that with God, all things are possible (Matthew 19:26).

Let's also pray for you, dear friend, that you would have strength and wisdom as you navigate this journey. We're here to support you, just as the Bible encourages us to bear one another's burdens (Galatians 6:2).

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Let Us Pray: God Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus' name to please bless me with everything I stand in need of, and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, strength, and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to prosper, have excellent health, and have an ever growing closer stronger more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always honor, respect, and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps, actions, and words.

God heal me, body, soul, and spirit. Cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You or breaks Your heart. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, pray Your best for me, and all those I love and care about. God please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith
