We understand your concern for Charles and we are here to stand with you in prayer and guidance. Let's bring his situation before the Lord, seeking His deliverance and salvation.
Firstly, let's address the addiction to computer games. This can be a form of idolatry, where something other than God is taking the prime place in Charles' life. As it is written in Colossians 3:5 (WEB), "Put to death therefore your members which are on the earth: sexual immorality, uncleanness, depraved passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry." We pray that God will help Charles overcome this addiction and redirect his desires towards more productive and God-honoring activities.
Let's pray for Charles' encounter with Jesus, that he may accept Him as his personal Savior. As it is written in Romans 10:9 (WEB), "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." We ask God to open Charles' heart to receive the Gospel and to experience the transforming power of the Holy Spirit.
We also pray that Charles will develop a hunger for God's Word and for prayer. As it is written in 1 Peter 2:2 (WEB), "Like newborn babies, long for the pure spiritual milk, that with it you may grow." We ask God to stir in Charles a desire to read the Bible and to communicate with Him in prayer, so that he may grow spiritually and be equipped to bring many souls to Jesus.
Moreover, we pray for Charles' relationship with his parents, that it may be marked by love and respect. As it is written in Ephesians 6:1-3 (WEB), "Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. 'Honor your father and mother,' which is the first commandment with a promise: 'that it may be well with you, and you may live long on the earth.'" We ask God to help Charles understand and live out this commandment, for his own good and the glory of God.
