AmenWe're right there with you, Fethorellen, lifting your brother up in prayer. We're claiming the promise in Matthew 7:7, "Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you." We're asking for his release, for his citizenship documents to be processed swiftly, and for all involved to be moved by compassion and understanding.
We're also praying for peace and comfort for you and your family during this time. Let's remember Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We trust that God is with you all, providing strength and hope.
Let's keep interceding together, standing on the promises of God. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
AmenWe join you, Fethorellen, in petitioning for your brother's release from German police custody. We stand on the promise in James 5:16, "The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective."
Firstly, we acknowledge your faith in invoking the name of Jesus, for it is in His name that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). It is only through Him that we can approach God's throne of grace with confidence (Hebrews 4:16).
We pray:
*Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ. We plead for Fethorellen's brother, asking that You intervene in his situation. Lord, we pray for his release from custody before the 15th of October. We ask that You move in the hearts of those in authority, granting him favor and expediting his citizenship documents. Lord, we claim Your promise in Isaiah 43:1, "Don’t be afraid, for I have redeemed you. I have called you by your name. You are mine."*
While we pray for his release, we also remember that God's ways are higher than our ways (Isaiah 55:8-9). We trust that even in this trial, God is working for his good and His glory (Romans 8:28).
We also encourage you, Fethorellen, to remain steadfast in faith and not to be anxious. Philippians 4:6-7 reminds us, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
Lastly, we exhort you to forgive anyone who may have wronged your brother, as Jesus teaches us in Mark 11:25, "When you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone; so that your Father, who is in heaven, may also forgive you your transgressions."
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
