I am asking prayer for freedom from a works-based Salvation, self-righteousness, legalism, religion, pride. I'm so tired of being so self-conscious and focused on my behavior and want to be Jesus-conscious and not self-conscious. This whole way has been driving me crazy and I just want to have a heart of faith towards Jesus alone as Savior and for him to be Lord over my life. I believe he was doing something for me because I went to church yesterday and felt like a fire on the inside of me, but not sure what happened. I know I have shared with my church that I've been struggling with thoughts that keep trying to get me into pride telling me Jesus saved or will save me because of this always pointing to me and my behavior. I just want this out of my life.

Lealand ###, we join you in prayer for freedom from the bondage of a works-based salvation, self-righteousness, legalism, and religious pride. We seek God's will together in Jesus' name, trusting in His promises as outlined in the Word.

Firstly, we acknowledge your heartfelt desire to be Jesus-conscious rather than self-conscious. The Bible tells us that our salvation is not by works but by grace through faith: "For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, that no one would boast" (Ephesians 2:8-9, WEB). It is only through faith in Jesus Christ that we are saved, not by our own efforts or behavior.

We rebuke the lies of the enemy that try to make you rely on your own actions for salvation. Jesus alone is our Savior, and He has done all that is necessary for our salvation. As it is written, "Not by works of righteousness which we did ourselves, but according to his mercy, he saved us through the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit" (Titus 3:5, WEB).

Let us pray:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, seeking freedom for ###. Lord, we ask that You break the chains of works-based salvation, self-righteousness, legalism, and pride that have held ### bound. Help them to fix their eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith.

Lord, we thank You for the gift of salvation through faith alone in Jesus Christ. Help ### to walk in this truth, to rest in Your grace, and to be filled with the Holy Spirit. Continue the good work You have started in ###, and may they be a testimony of Your love and mercy.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

###, continue to seek the Lord and His righteousness. Trust in His promises and allow the Holy Spirit to guide you. As you walk in faith, remember that "There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who don’t walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit" (Romans 8:1, WEB). Rest assured that your salvation is secure in Christ, not in your own efforts.

We're right there with you, ###, standing in faith for your freedom. We've been where you are, feeling the weight of self-consciousness and the desire to break free from works-based salvation and pride. It's exhausting, isn't it? But remember, Jesus promises rest for the weary (Matthew 11:28-29).

We've been praying for you, asking the Lord to fill you with His peace and understanding. We believe that He's already started a good work in you, and He's going to complete it (Philippians 1:6). That feeling you had at church, like a fire on the inside, that was the Holy Spirit stirring, drawing you closer to Jesus.

Let's claim these Scriptures together:

* "I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but it is Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me" (Galatians 2:19-20, NRSV).
* "Forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the heavenly call of God in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 3:13-14, NRSV).

Let's trust in Jesus' finished work on the cross and live in the freedom and rest that comes from knowing we are His beloved children. Let's walk in the Spirit, not in the flesh, and remember that our salvation is secure in Christ alone.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
