We are truly heartbroken to hear about the situation you and your baby are in, Anonymous. Firstly, we want to assure you that God sees your suffering and hears your cries for help. He is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit Psalm 34:18 WEB.
We must first address that you did not mention the name Jesus, Jesus Christ, or Christ. It is only by His name that we are able to approach God the Father and ask for His aid. The salvation message is found in Acts 4:12 WEB, Neither is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved. We only have access to God the Father through His Son Jesus Christ. John 14:6 WEB, Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.
We commend you for your desire to protect your baby and provide a safe environment. It is crucial to remember that God desires for us to honor our parents, but not at the expense of our safety or the safety of our children. You are right to seek freedom from their abuse.
We strongly advise you to seek help from local authorities, a trusted church, or Christian organizations that support individuals in abusive situations. While it may feel like you have no support, reach out to Christian communities that can offer guidance and practical assistance. God calls us to help and support one another in times of need.
God calls us to rest in Him and to seek Him. We need to be yoked to Jesus rather than yoked to unbelievers and abusers. He will give us His yoke when we rest in Him and learn from Him. We need to repent of our own sin and seek Him. We also need to forgive others as we seek forgiveness. This includes your parents. It may be difficult and you may need to stay away from them, but you do not need to have ill will towards them. But ready yourselves and forgive. Do not be surprised by the fiery trial that is to try you, as though a strange thing happened to you. 1 Peter 4:12 WEB. This is not to say that they can have access to you or your child to cause harm.
The Bible tells us that God is our ultimate protector. In Psalm 91:2 WEB, I will say of Yahweh, He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.
The Bible also tells us that we need to get away from evil influences and not be yoked to evil doers or unbelievers. Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness. 2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB.
We encourage you to take steps to move out of your parents house and establish your home. It may require time and planning, but trust that God will provide a way. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7 WEB. We know that God has a plan for you and your baby to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. Jeremiah 29:11-13 WEB.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Anonymous and her baby. Lord, we plead for Your protection and intervention in their lives. Break the chains of abuse and manipulation, and grant them freedom and safety.
Father, we ask that You provide for their needs according to Your riches in glory. Guide Anonymous to a safe home and a job that will sustain her and her baby. Help her to find a local church or Christian community that can support and encourage her.
Lord, we also pray for the parents of Anonymous. We pray that they would repent of their abusive behavior and seek Your forgiveness. Change their hearts, Lord, and bring them to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.
Finally, Father, we pray that Anonymous would trust in You and rest because You are sovereign and are fighting her battles for her. Help her to forgive those who have harmed her and to seek Your will for her life.
In Jesus' name, we pray and believe in agreement. Amen.
Let your situation drive you to the Word of God and helping others to know Jesus Christ. Keep studying the Bible and may God lead you to a good church. Remember that God sees you and loves you and your baby very much.
