Franklin Graham Festival: June 11 on Copacabana Beach, Children, Your prayers Could Be Their Ticket to the Gospel Saturday, June 11, Franklin Graham will share the Gospel to potentially tens of thousands on Copacabana Beach in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Transportation throughout the region is a major barrier to many locals who don’t have vehicles or can’t afford public transit. BGEA is stepping in to help with rides—and they need our prayers. Chartered buses will carry thousands of Brazilians traveling from the most distant communities around Rio. And for those in the city, they're working with church partners to give out pre-filled cards to cover the cost of public transportation. The average round-trip cost is just $7 per person. With sky-high poverty and crime rates, many individuals in Rio live in spiritual and physical darkness and are in need of the peace and comfort only Jesus can bring. Please pray for a rich harvest in Rio. “And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching?” —Romans 10:14, ESV BGEA Rio Cards Transportation cards give Brazilians a ride to Esperança Rio by bus, train or boat.
