We appreciate your fervent and passionate request for prayer and support for the Sunday Morning Breakfast services at FPC, as well as the personal protection and blessings you sought for ###. We join with you in lifting these needs before our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, who alone has the power to bless, protect, and provide.
Firstly, we want to commend your faith and remind you of the power of prayer and the precious blood of Jesus, as mentioned in Ephesians 4:27, "Don't give place to the devil." We are also encouraged by Revelation 12:11, which tells us that "They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony."
However, we must also address some concerns biblically. While it is important to pray for protection against evil and for the provision of physical needs, we must be careful not to focus too much on the "evils" and "enemies" around us. Instead, we should fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2).
Additionally, we must be mindful of the biblical instruction to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us (Matthew 5:44). This includes those who may wish to harm us or disrupt our services. We should pray for their salvation and that God would turn their hearts towards Him.
Let us pray together:
"Dear Lord Jesus, we come before You, united in prayer for the Sunday Morning Breakfast services at FPC and for ###. Lord, we ask that You would provide abundantly for the breakfast, that there would be more than enough food to go around, even for those who come late (Matthew 14:20). We pray for Your protection over ### and all those involved in the service, that no weapon formed against them would prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We also pray for the salvation of those who may wish to disrupt the service, that You would turn their hearts towards You.
Lord, we ask that You would be at the center of this breakfast service, that Your will would be done, and that Your name would be glorified. We pray that this would be a time of fellowship, encouragement, and spiritual renewal for all who attend.
Finally, Lord, we pray that You would remind us all to fix our eyes on You, not on our circumstances or our enemies. Help us to love as You loved and to truly be a light in this world. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you to continue praying fervently, but also to trust in God's will and His timing. Remember, God's ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9). Keep your eyes on Jesus, and He will guide your path.
Lastly, we want to remind you of the importance of believing in the name of Jesus Christ for salvation. As Acts 4:12 tells us, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved." If you have not already, we encourage you to confess Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior.
