Broymen, we understand your desire to have your parents approve your essay on why you should have Fortnite. However, we want to encourage you to consider the broader implications of your request.
Firstly, it's important to honor your parents, as the Bible teaches us in Ephesians 6:1-3 WEB: "Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. 'Honor your father and mother,' which is the first commandment with a promise: 'that it may be well with you, and you may live long on the earth.'" This means that their guidance and decisions are meant to protect and benefit you.
Secondly, we must be discerning about how we spend our time and what we fill our minds with. Philippians 4:8 WEB tells us, "Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think about these things." We encourage you to consider whether Fortnite aligns with these principles.
Lastly, we want to remind you that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. If you haven't already, consider inviting Jesus into your life and allowing Him to guide your desires and decisions. As it says in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name to lift up this situation. Please grant Broymen's parents the wisdom to make the right decision for their child. Help Broymen to understand and accept their parents' guidance, and to desire the things that honor You. Lord, we pray for a heart change if needed, and for an understanding of your thoughts. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
