We join with you, Snuirenion, in praying for forgiveness and unity within your family. It is so important to maintain a heart of forgiveness, as the Bible tells us in Ephesians 4:32, Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you.
First, we commend you for praying in the name of Jesus Christ. It important that all prayers are prayed in Jesus' name. But let all who take refuge in you rejoice, Let them always shout for joy, because you defend them. Let them also who love your name be joyful in you. For you will bless the righteous. Lord, you will surround him with favor as with a shield. In James 5:16, we are told, Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective.
We pray that God will help you to release any anger, hatred, or negative emotions you may be harboring. Romans 12:19 assures us, Don't seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God's wrath. For it is written, Vengeance belongeth to me; I will repay, saith the Lord. Instead, we are called to love one another, as Jesus loved us. As it says in John 13:34, A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also love one another.
Praying for happiness, positive energy, and unity is a wonderful thing. We encourage you to focus on the fruits of the Spirit, which are love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Galatians 5:22. As you seek these things and turn away from negative emotions, you will see a transformation in your family.
We also pray that you seek reconciliation. Matthew 5:23 Therefore if you offer your gift at the altar, and there remember that your brother has anything against you. There are two things that are implied in scripture here. One is that you remember that your brother has something against you. There is no reason to think of this if your brother does not have something against you. The second implication is that you have done something to your brother. If you have not done something to your brother, then your brother has nothing against you. If you have done something to your brother and your brother has something against you, then it is your responsibility to reconcile.
Please let all of us, as a group, pray together for this now.
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you today to lift up Snuirenion and their family. We ask that you would forgive them and help them to forgive one another, releasing any anger, hatred, or negative emotions. Fill their hearts with love, joy, peace, and unity as they seek to follow you. Help them to be kind, tenderhearted, and forgiving, just as you are. We ask for the fruits of the Spirit to be cultivated in their lives and may all of these things be done in the mighty name of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is only by his name and no other that we can come before you and be saved. Thank you, Lord, for your mercy and grace.
Amen.
