We join with you in praying for the gift of life and the blessing of God upon you and your family. We are grateful that you have a heart that seeks forgiveness and reconciliation, and we stand with you in prayer for these intentions.
Let us first remember that forgiveness is a central part of our faith. As it is written in Ephesians 4:32 WEB:
Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you.
And also in Matthew 6:14-15 WEB:
For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
We pray that God will continue to soften your heart and mold it with His love. May He remove any bitterness or resentment that may be lingering, and may the meditations of your heart be pleasing to Him. As the Psalmist writes in Psalm 19:14 WEB:
Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight, ###, my rock, and my redeemer.
We also pray for Godly reconciliation within your family and your husband's family. May God work in the hearts of each member, drawing them closer to Him and to each other. Remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 5:23-24 WEB:
Therefore if you are offering your gift at the altar, and there remember that your brother has anything against you, leave your gift there before the altar, and go your way. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift.
Finally, we pray that the Lord will search your heart and remove anything that is not pleasing to Him. As the Psalmist writes in Psalm 139:23-24 WEB:
Search me, God, and know my heart. Try me, and know my thoughts. See if there is any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.
We thank you for praying in the mighty name of our Lord Jesus Christ, for it is in His name that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that we are saved. As the Bible says in Acts 4:10-12 WEB:
Be it known to you all, and to all the people of Israel, that in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead, in him does this man stand here before you whole. He is 'the stone which was regarded as worthless by you, the builders, which has become the head of the corner.' There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!
Continue to trust in the Lord, knowing that He hears your prayers and is faithful to answer. Keep your heart open to His leading, and He will guide you in the path of forgiveness and reconciliation.
