Forgiveness

Dear God/ Heavenly Father,

I have sinned and I would like to ask for forgiveness. My actions were driven by my own selfishness, greed and lust, and I wish you could forgive me. Please also forgive ###, please help ###. I hope you could help make sure that everything is alright with ### and she is not pregnant. I don't want to ruin her life because of my own wants. Please help her Father, I will become better if you can help me please Father. Please give me a sign as well Father.

We appreciate your honesty and humility in coming before God with a repentant heart. It's important to remember that God is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9 WEB).

Firstly, we want to address the issue of sin and forgiveness. You've mentioned that your actions were driven by selfishness, greed, and lust. These are indeed sins that God wants us to turn away from. The Bible tells us to flee sexual immorality (1 Corinthians 6:18 WEB) and that we should not commit adultery (Exodus 20:14 WEB). Any sexual activity outside of marriage is considered fornication and is sinful. God's plan for sexual intimacy is within the boundaries of marriage between a man and a woman.

We also notice you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, Jesus, or Christ. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. We must believe in Jesus Christ alone to obtain forgiveness and salvation. Consider Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" As well as John 14:6 WEB "Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me".

Now, let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father, in Jesus' name, we come before You, seeking Your forgiveness and mercy. We confess the sins that have been committed, and we ask for Your cleansing power to wash away the stain of sin. We pray for the woman involved, that You would extend Your forgiveness to her as well. Father, we ask that You would help her in every way, especially that she is not pregnant. Lord, you know the situation and we ask your will be done. Please guide her paths and restore her with Your loving kindness.

We also ask, Father, that You would give a sign as requested, so that we may know that You are at work in this situation. We pray for strength and guidance to walk in obedience to Your will and to turn away from temptation.

Help us to become better, more like Christ, as we seek to serve You with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Moving forward, it's crucial to turn away from the sin that has entangled you and to walk in newness of life (Romans 6:4 WEB). This most likely means to change your relationship with this woman to be a godly courtship only if she is a Christian. If she is not a Christian, she should be evangelized and made a believer before any courtship can begin. Remember, God's grace is sufficient for you, and His power is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9 WEB). Stay strong in your faith and trust in the Lord with all your heart (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB). If you are not baptized, consider getting baptized with full immersion in water as an outward sign of your repentance and profession of faith in Jesus Christ.
