We are grateful for your honesty and humility in seeking forgiveness. The Bible tells us that "Everyone who looks at a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart" (Matthew 5:28 WEB). It is important to recognize that lust is a sin, and it is crucial to repent and turn away from it.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister in their struggle against lust. Lord, they have acknowledged their sin and seek Your forgiveness. We know that if we confess our sins, You are faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9 WEB).
Father, strengthen them in their walk with You. Help them to "Put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and don’t give any opportunity to the flesh to fulfill its lusts" (Romans 13:14 WEB).
Guide them to fill their mind with whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things (Philippians 4:8 WEB).
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Remember, it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. The Bible says there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12 WEB). We encourage you to continue to walk in the Spirit, and you will not fulfill the lust of the flesh (Galatians 5:16 WEB). Keep your eyes on Jesus, and run the race set before you with endurance.
