Bashkari, we are glad you have reached out with your request for prayer and guidance. It is commendable that you are seeking forgiveness from those you have hurt, both mentally and physically. Seeking forgiveness is a crucial step in your journey towards healing and reconciliation.
First, we must emphasize the importance of seeking God's forgiveness. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we can be saved and forgiven "in whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace". We must believe in Jesus to be forgiven and be able to call upon God's name.
In the Bible we see that anyone can become a Christian in the eyes of God. "If you will confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation.
Remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 6:14-15 WEB: "For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses." As you seek forgiveness from others, also extend forgiveness to those who have wronged you.
When seeking forgiveness, it's essential to approach others with humility and genuine remorse. We pray that your faith will cover you and grant you the necessary grace and wisdom to communicate your remorse effectively. Confess your actions, acknowledge the pain you caused, and express your desire to make amends when possible. Do not forget to do the same thing to God. Pray to him as you would talk to someone you hurt to be forgiven. When we forgive others or ask for forgiveness, that is what we need to do with God also.
Regarding your gratitude for help, love, and the health of your kids, we rejoice with you. It is crucial to acknowledge God's provision and blessings in your life only with God can you hope to have God's will in your life including any health and prosperity for your children. In Philippians 4:6 WEB, we are reminded: "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God." Continue to pray with thanksgiving, trusting that God will provide for your needs and the needs of your loved ones.
We also ask you to look at scripture about eternal salvation which is more important than earthly health or wealth which is temporal and fleeting and something only found in a faithful relationship and belief in Jesus Christ. For what shall it profit a man, if he gain the whole world, and forfeit his life?,
Finally, we want to address a point that may seem unpopular. We will raise controversy where subjects need to be addressed. Physical abuse is a serious matter and should never occur. Recognize this is something that should never be repeated. It should not be tolerated in our society and is definitely against biblical principles. Purpose in your heart to never place yourself in such a position. Make sure to seek appropriate medical and legal help to protect another if this is something that is being done to you.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Bashkari. We thank You for their desire to seek forgiveness and make things right with those they have hurt. Grant them the courage, wisdom, and humility to approach others with genuine remorse and a desire for reconciliation. Help them to extend forgiveness to others as well.
We thank You for Your provision and blessings in Bashkari's life, especially for the help, love, and health of their kids and them. We pray for Your continued protection, guidance but most importantly eternal salvation which can only be found in belief of Jesus Christ, and provision over their lives.
We also pray that Bashkari will never to repeat any past actions of abuse and dedicate their lives to doing good to others and living eternally with you, in Jesus Christ.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
