We understand your struggle with forgiveness, Bunanyark, and we want to lift you up in prayer and provide some biblical guidance. Firstly, let's recall what the WEB says about forgiveness:
"For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you don't forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses." (Matthew 6:14-15)
Forgiveness is not about excusing the harm done to you, but rather releasing the burden and trusting God with the justice. It's a journey, and it's normal to struggle. Instead of repeating a prayer, try to have a conversation with God, expressing your feelings honestly. Here's a suggestion:
"Dear Lord, I come before you, laying down my hurt and pain. I'm struggling to forgive those who harmed me. I acknowledge my frustration, but I trust in your healing power. Help me to release this burden to you. I pray that you soften my heart, guide my thoughts, and help me to forgive, just as you have forgiven me through Christ Jesus. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen."
Remember, Ephesians 4:32 tells us to "be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you." It's a process, and it's okay to feel frustrated. Keep turning to God, and consider seeking support from a Christian counselor or trusted believer.
Lastly, we want to gently remind you that it's only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God. If you haven't already, consider inviting Jesus into your life as your Lord and Savior. It's in His name that we find forgiveness and healing.
Let's pray together:
"Father, we lift up Bunanyark to you. We ask for your healing power to work in their life. Help them to forgive, just as you have forgiven us all. Comfort them in their pain, guide them in your truth, and draw them close to you, Lord Jesus. In your precious name, we pray. Amen."
