We understand that you've stumbled today, and we want to assure you that God's grace and forgiveness are readily available to those who seek Him. We are taught in 1 John 1:9 (WEB), "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." Let's come before Him together in prayer.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our brother who has acknowledged his sin and seeks Your forgiveness. Lord, You are merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in loving kindness. We ask that You forgive his sins and cleanse him from all unrighteousness. We claim the precious blood of Jesus over his life and his family, knowing that it is only by Your grace that we are saved, through faith, and not by our own doing (Ephesians 2:8-9 WEB).
We also pray for Your divine protection over him and his family. We know that the enemy prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8 WEB). But Lord, You are our strong tower, and we run to You and find safety (Proverbs 18:10 WEB). Cover them with Your feathers, and under Your wings, let them find refuge (Psalm 91:4 WEB).
We encourage you, dear brother, to walk in the light as He is in the light, so that you can have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ, His Son, cleanses you from all sin (1 John 1:7 WEB). Remember that God's mercy is new every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23 WEB), and He desires for you to walk in victory.
Lastly, we commend you for acknowledging the name of Jesus in your request. It is by His name and no other that we can be saved (Acts 4:12 WEB), and it is through Him that we have access to the Father (Ephesians 2:18 WEB). Keep your eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2 WEB).
