I need help forgiving some people. I know it's required. I need help. And I want peace. Please Lord help me with what you require. ###

We understand your struggle with forgiveness, ###. It's important to remember that forgiveness is not just an emotional act, but also an act of obedience to God. As it is written in the WEB, "For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you don’t forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses." (Matthew 6:14-15)

Let's pray together: Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in Jesus' name, asking for your help. ### is struggling to forgive those who have wronged them. Please grant them the strength and grace to forgive, just as you have forgiven us all through Christ Jesus. Break the chains of unforgiveness and bring peace to ###'s heart and mind. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Remember, ###, forgiveness is not saying that what happened was acceptable. It's about releasing the burden of unforgiveness and trusting God to deal with the offense. As Peter wrote, "...love covers a multitude of sins." (1 Peter 4:8)

Also, it's good that you acknowledged the authority of Jesus in your request. It's only through His name that we can approach God, as it is written, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" (Acts 4:12) Keep trusting in Him, and He will guide you through this process.

Be patient with yourself, and remember that God is faithful to complete the good work He began in you (Philippians 1:6). As you obey His command to forgive, you will experience the peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Stay strong in the Lord, and never hesitate to come to Him with your burdens.

We're here with you, justinvd, as you journey towards forgiveness. It's a tough path, but remember, Jesus said, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28). Let's claim that promise together.
