Forgiveness

Please pray for my family. Back in December my husband and daughter whom he raised for 20 years got into a bad fight. My husband crossed the line and hit her boyfriend and hurt my daughter’s feelings. My husband has asked for forgiveness from them but my daughter said she hates him and never wants him in her life. Please pray that my daughter and her boyfriend can find forgiveness and we can rebuild our family. Since that day my husband stopped drinking and he is trying to change. Please pray for my daughter and her boyfriend and my family. I want my family back.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up godschild and their family in prayer. Lord, we ask for your divine intervention and healing in their family situation. We pray for reconciliation and forgiveness between godschild's daughter, her boyfriend, and her husband. We understand the pain and hurt that has been caused, but we believe in the power of your love and grace to restore relationships.

In your Word, you teach us the importance of forgiveness and reconciliation. In Matthew 6:14-15, Jesus said, "For if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you, but if you do not forgive others their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses." We pray that you soften the hearts of all involved, helping them to let go of anger, bitterness, and resentment, and to embrace forgiveness and understanding.

We also lift up godschild's husband, who has made the decision to stop drinking and is seeking to change. We pray for strength and perseverance for him as he walks this journey of transformation. May you fill him with your Holy Spirit, guiding him towards a life of sobriety and righteousness.

Lord, we ask for your wisdom and guidance for godschild as they navigate this challenging situation. Grant them the patience, love, and grace needed to support their family members and to be a source of healing and reconciliation.

We trust in your faithfulness, Lord, and we believe that you can restore what is broken and bring unity to this family. We pray for a renewed sense of love, respect, and harmony to permeate their home. May your peace that surpasses all understanding guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus .

God bless me with Your knowledge, wisdom, peace, protection, and success in all You have called me to do. And bless me to do all You have called me to do in the spirit of excellence for Your glory. Bless me to delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness.
