We are truly saddened to hear about the struggles you're facing in your marriage, but we are encouraged by your faith in Jesus' name. It's important to remember that marriage is a sacred bond, a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman as outlined in the Bible.
When both husband and wife are willing, no problem is insurmountable. God can turn even the most difficult situations around for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose.
In Ephesians 4:32 WEB, it says "And be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you." This verse reminds us that forgiveness is a fundamental aspect of our faith. Just as God has forgiven us, we should also forgive each other.
In regard to restoration, we know that God is able to heal and restore marriages. In Malachi 4:6 WEB, it says "He will turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers." This verse shows us that God is in the business of restoring relationships.
Let's pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before you today in Jesus' name, lifting up this marriage to you. We pray for healing, forgiveness, and restoration. We ask that you would soften their hearts towards each other, and that you would help them to forgive as you have forgiven us. We pray for a miracle in their marriage, that you would restore what the enemy has tried to destroy. We ask that you would give them a vision of what their marriage can be like with your healing and restoration. We pray that they would be a testimony of your power and love. We ask all these things in Jesus' name. Amen.
We encourage you to continue to pray together as a couple, seeking God's will for your marriage. Remember that God is faithful, and He can restore what has been broken. Don't lose hope, but trust in God's promise that He will never leave you nor forsake you.
Lastly, we want to encourage you to seek out a Christian marriage counselor if you haven't already. They can provide you with biblical guidance and support as you navigate this difficult time.
In the future, do not be afraid to ask for prayer in Jesus Name. It is only by this name we have access to God.
