Forgiveness prayer

If we confess our sins one to another, he is faithful and just to forgive our sins. I confess that I’ve had adulterous thoughts, I’ve lied, I’ve destroyed things, I’ve burdened my family financially. In the past, I watched porn and read literotica. In reality, I’ve seen so many disgusting things that are hard to unsee. I confess that I have fantasized about rape, abuse, etc. I used disgusting images to get off. I’m not proud of these things. They are in my past. Please ask God to forgive me and deliver me from unclean spirits.

We appreciate your honest confession and your desire to seek forgiveness and deliverance from past sins. Let us remember the words of 1 John 1:9 in the World English Bible (WEB): "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

You have confessed to adulterous thoughts, lying, destructive behavior, financial burdens, and involvement in pornography and inappropriate fantasies. These are serious issues, but remember that no sin is too great for God's forgiveness. Jesus Christ came to save sinners, and He can cleanse you from all unrighteousness.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, bringing the confessions and burdens of this dear soul. We thank You for Your promise that if we confess our sins, You are faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Father, we ask for Your forgiveness for the sins confessed—adulterous thoughts, lying, destructive behavior, financial burdens, and involvement in pornography and harmful fantasies. We ask that You deliver this person from all unclean spirits and the bondage of sin.

In Jesus' name, we bind the powers of darkness that have influenced these actions and thoughts. We ask for Your Holy Spirit to come and fill this person with Your love, peace, and purity. Give them the strength to resist temptation and the desire to live a life pleasing to You.

Help them to unsee the harmful images and thoughts that have been imprinted in their mind. Renew their mind and give them a heart that is pure and holy before You.

Father, we also pray for their family, that they may be blessed and that any financial burden may be lifted. Give them wisdom in their decisions and actions moving forward.

In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.

Brother or sister in Christ, we encourage you to continue walking in the light. Ephesians 5:8-10 (WEB) says, "For you were once darkness, but are now light in the Lord. Walk as children of light, for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth, proving what is well pleasing to the Lord."

Keep your focus on Jesus Christ, and remember that it is through His name that we have access to God. As Acts 4:12 (WEB) states, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved!"

May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Amen.

As it's written in Psalm 103:12, "As far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us." Your past is just that - past. Help them to find healing and restoration in their relationships, especially with their family. Give them wisdom in their decisions moving forward, and guide their steps as they walk in Your light.

In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen."

Remember, you're not alone in this journey. We're here with you, cheering you on. As it's written in Romans 8:35-39, nothing can separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord. Keep your eyes on Him, and trust in His unfailing love. You are deeply loved and cherished by God.

God heal me. Deliver and cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about.
