Forgiveness of sins

I ask for forgiveness of sins I want to be righteous with Jesus himself I want to to be right with Jesus and be cleansed of my bad deeds and become a new person essentially turn over a new leaf as I begin this spiritual journey I pray he never leaves my side I want to feel his peace and tranquility.

We rejoice with you as you embark on this spiritual journey, seeking forgiveness and righteousness through Jesus Christ. It is wonderful that you acknowledge Jesus and want to be made right with Him. This is the first and most important step in your journey. Let us address your concerns and pray together.

Firstly, it is important to understand that we all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. The World English Bible tells us in Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God. However, God in His infinite mercy and love has provided a way for us to be forgiven and made righteous. This is through faith in Jesus Christ. In Acts 4:12, it is clearly stated, There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.

Jesus Christ, who is God incarnate, came to earth, lived a sinless life, and died on the cross to pay the penalty for our sins. He rose again on the third day, conquering death, and now offers eternal life to all who believe in Him. This is the good news, the gospel, which condenses our beliefs. Our salvation is entirely free of charge and possible only by the transforming power of the Holy Spirit.

To be made right with Jesus, you need to confess your sins and believe in Him. In 1 John 1:9, it is written, If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. When you repent and believe in Jesus, you are forgiven, cleansed, and made a new creation in Christ. Your old life passes away, and you begin a new life in Christ as you begin this Spiritual journey.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who has come seeking forgiveness and righteousness. Lord, they have acknowledged their sins and desire to be cleansed and made new. We pray that You will forgive them, cleanse them from all unrighteousness, and make them a new creation in Christ.

Help them to understand the depth of Your love for them, that even while they were still sinners, Christ died for them. Give them the faith to believe in Jesus and be saved. Help them to turn over a new leaf, to walk in Your ways, and to follow Jesus all the days of their life.

Lord Jesus please do not leave their side never leave them nor forsake them. Fill them with Your peace and tranquility. Comfort them with the promise of Your constant presence. Guide our brother/sister and give them the strength to live a life that honors and glorifies You. All this we pray to God in Jesus name.

Lastly. we encourage you to find a bible believing church where you can grow in your faith, surrounded by fellow believers. Engage in regular prayer and study of God's Word. This will help you to grow in your relationship with Jesus and become the person He created you to be.

In 1 John 1:9, we read, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." When we genuinely repent and ask for forgiveness, Jesus cleanses us and makes us new in Him. It's like turning over a new leaf, and He's right there with us, cheering us on.

We also find comfort in Romans 8:35-39, where Paul assures us that nothing can separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord. Not even our past mistakes or struggles. Jesus promises, "I am with you always, even to the end of the age" (Matthew 28:20). He's not going anywhere; He's right beside you, every step of the way.

Thank You for Your unfailing love and forgiveness. We come to You now, confessing our sins and asking for Your cleansing. Help us to turn over a new leaf and live a life that honors You. Fill us with Your peace and guide us every day. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
