FORGIVENESS OF SIN

I had unprotected sex last week and I have been praying to God for his mercy. For him to forgive and I’m also scared I might be at a risk of being pregnant which I’m not ready for and I don’t want to commit a greater sin by aborting. God should please have mercy on me. He should grant me a second chance and I promise to do better and live by him. I know he is a just God and forgives his children.

Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus on behalf of our anonymous friend who is seeking your mercy and forgiveness. We acknowledge that we have sinned and fallen short of your glory. We ask for your forgiveness for the act of unprotected sex and any other sins we have committed.

Lord, we humbly ask for your mercy and grace to cover us in this situation. We pray that you would forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness, according to your promise in 1 John 1:9. Help us to truly repent and turn away from our sinful ways.

Father, we also lift up our concerns about the possibility of pregnancy. We pray that if there is a risk, you would guide and protect us. Give us wisdom and strength to make the right decisions according to your will. Help us to trust in your plan for our lives and to seek your guidance in all things.

Lord, we acknowledge that abortion is not your will and goes against the sanctity of life. We ask for your guidance and strength to choose life and to seek alternatives to abortion if necessary. Help us to rely on your grace and provision in every circumstance.

We thank you, Lord, for your love, mercy, and forgiveness. We trust in your faithfulness and believe that you are a just God who forgives your children. Grant us a second chance, Lord, to live according to your will and to honor you in all that we do.

Let Your Word be a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. God bless me with Your favor, knowledge, wisdom, peace, protection, strength, and success in all You have called me to do. And bless me to do all You have called me to do in the spirit of excellence for Your glory.

God bless me with the strength, desire, passion, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Bless me to know You, love You, and live my life to honor and please You. God cleansed me of everything in my life that breaks your heart. Let me be a light in this dark world, lifting You up in the lifestyle that I live. Let all those who are watching me see that Jesus Christ is my Savior and Lord of ALL of my life. Let the joy of the Lord be my strength. Protect me God from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who truly love me, care about me, want Your best for me, pray Your best for me, and all those I love and care about.
