Heavenly Father, "GOD" through "JESUS CHRIST", My "LORD & SAVIOUR"; I Pray For The Forgiveness Of My Sins Those Known & Unknown (From My Early Childhood Until Present). Although I have gone to Confession, & I've Asked For The Forgiveness Of These Sins; I Still Feel Unclean. Please Heavenly Father, "GOD" Through "JESUS CHRIST", My Lord & SAVIOUR"; Please Cleanse My Body, Heart, Mind, Spirit, & Soul. Please Heal Whatever Is Broken In Me. Please Help Me To Become A Better Catholic By Reading & Understanding The Holy Bible (I Get Frustrated Because I Read The Bible & I Don't Retain What I Have Read. I Have To Go Back & Reread What I Have Read. Please My "LORD JESUS CHRIST" Open My Eyes, Mind, Heart, & Spirit & Help Me To Understand & Retain What I Have Read! I Love Reading these Messages Of People Requesting Prayers For Their Needs & Problems. Please Heavenly Father, "GOD"; Through "JESUS CHRIST", My "LORD & SAVIOUR" Open My Ears To Hear Truth, My Eyes To See Beauty, My Mouth to Speak Kindness & Truth; & My Heart To Love. Help Me To Accept The Things I Cannot Change; & The Wisdom To Know The Difference. Heavenly Father, "GOD" Through "JESUS CHRIST, My "LORD & SAVIOUR" Please Intercede For My Immediate Family; (My Husband, My Son, My Daughter In-law, Her Mother, & Myself) For The Sake Of My Only (Grandchild) Grandson (19 Months Young). My Daughter In-Law Hates Us (Does Not Allow Us To Be or See Our Son & Grandson). I've Read About Troubled "Narcisstic" & Toxic Daughter In-Laws. My Daughter In-Law needs Help! In The Last 3 Years, Since they Got Married, My Daughter In-Law & Her Mom; have completely alienated Our Son & Grandson From us. For The Fourth Of July, My Husband Touched Her Arm (not a hug) to let her know that he was grateful to Her & Our Son For Having Us Over For A Barbecue. She Reacted By Telling My Husband Not To Touch Her; My Husband (to me seems to me like to antagonize her) Touched Her Again; Causing Her To Jump Up From Where She Was Sitting; & Getting Up On His Face (Yelling) For Him To Get Out Of Her House. I Had Already Said "My Thank You's & Goodbye" & Was Talking To Her Mom; When I Heard The Commotion; & Looked Towards My Husband & My Daughter In-Law (by The Couch); when She Looked At Me ; & Told Me To Get Out Too! I Am So Depressed & Heartbroken! I Am Seeing a Physcctrist & a Therapist To Deal With These Problems. I Seeked Help Because Of Past Trauma (When I Tried To Commit Suicide); I Didn't Want This Scenario To Play Again. SO PLEASE PRAY FOR ME & MY FAMILY! THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART.

We understand your deep desire for forgiveness and cleansing. It's wonderful that you have confessed your sins and sought forgiveness through Jesus Christ. The Bible tells us, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9 WEB). Remember, Jesus has already cleansed you, and you are made whole in Him.

However, we notice that you mention asking for forgiveness through confession, which is not a biblical requirement. The Bible tells us to confess our sins directly to God, and He is faithful to forgive us. It's important to understand that our forgiveness comes from Jesus Christ alone, not through any intermediary or sacrament. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me" (John 14:6 WEB).

Regarding your struggle with reading and retaining the Bible, we encourage you to continue being persistent. God's word is living and active, and He will reveal His truths to you. Ask the Holy Spirit to guide you. As it is written, "But the Comforter, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things, and will remind you of all things that I said to you" (John 14:26 WEB).

Concerning your family situation, we are saddened to hear about the division between you and your daughter-in-law. It's important to show love and kindness, even when it's not reciprocated. Jesus tells us, "Love your enemies, bless them who curse you, do good to them who hate you, and pray for them who mistreat you and persecute you" (Matthew 5:44 WEB). Continue to pray for her and your family, asking God to soften her heart and bring reconciliation.
