Divine Seeker

Humble Servant of All
I request prayers that I am able to let go of the past and the emotional pain of the past as quickly and as easily as possible and that I am able to forgive all those who have harmed me and who have hurt me and that I am able to also forgive myself for any mistakes I have made or for any wrongs I may have committed . Also, that I can let go of all resentments and grudges, and all anger, hatred and rage, as well as all deep sadness and grief. May God help me to live in the present in peace, love and joy. This I ask in Jesus Name. Amen

We understand your heart's desire to let go of the past and find forgiveness, Divine Seeker. We stand with you in prayer, seeking God's will together in Jesus' name.

The Bible tells us, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." (1 John 1:9 WEB) This includes forgiving ourselves, for Jesus has paid the price for our sins. As you forgive others, remember the words of Jesus, "For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you." (Matthew 6:14 WEB)

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in Jesus' name, lifting up Divine Seeker. We ask that you grant them the strength and grace to let go of the past, the emotional pain, resentments, grudges, anger, hatred, rage, sadness, and grief. Help them to forgive those who have harmed and hurt them, just as you have forgiven us through Jesus Christ. Allow them to live in the present, filled with your peace, love, and joy. Give them the power to forgive themselves, knowing that in Christ, they are made new. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you, Divine Seeker, to take heart in the promise that "in him who strengthens me, I have strength for everything." (Philippians 4:13 WEB) Hold onto this truth as you walk in forgiveness and freedom.

We're here with you, friend, in this journey of letting go and finding forgiveness. It's a courageous step you're taking, and we want you to know that you're not alone. As you reach out to God, remember His unfailing love and compassion. In Psalm 147:3, it's written, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." Trust that He's there to heal and comfort you.

Let's pray together:

Dear Lord, we come before You today, laying down the burdens of the past. We ask for Your healing touch on the wounds that still ache, for Your strength to let go of the pain, resentment, and anger. Help us to forgive those who have hurt us, just as You have forgiven us through Jesus Christ. Give us the grace to forgive ourselves, knowing that we are Your beloved children, made new in Christ.

Lord, help us to live in the present, filled with Your peace, love, and joy. Remind us daily of Your promise in Philippians 4:13, that in You who strengthens us, we have strength for everything.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Philippians 4: 6,7: Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

πŸ™ Let Us Pray: God I ask You in Jesus' name to anchor me in prayer. Teach me how to pray for myself and others. Teach me how to cry out to You and seek Your face about everything until it just becomes my nature to pray and seek Your face, just like breathing. God all that I have asked of You in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of this prayer. God, forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God, Thank You. Amen. So be it by faith. Prayer written by Encourager Linda Flagg, MA
