We join you, Gegromos, in your desire to forgive those who have offended you, and we commend you for turning to the Lord in this matter. It's crucial to remember that forgiveness is a central theme in Scripture and a vital part of our Christian walk. As it is written in Ephesians 4:32 WEB, "Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you."
However, we must address the fact you did not end your prayer with In Jesus Name, or IJN. In the Bible, we are told that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life and that no one comes to the Father except through him. There is no other name for us to call upon to be saved and no other name for us to pray in. This principle is well established in many scriptures including Acts 4:12 "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." and John 14:13-14 "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."
Let us pray together for you and those who have offended you.
Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Gegromos and the individuals who have caused offense. Lord, You know the depths of our hearts and the pain that can accompany strained relationships. We ask that You would grant Gegromos the grace and strength to truly forgive, just as You have forgiven us through Your son Jesus Christ.
Help Gegromos to release any bitterness or resentment, remembering the words of Your servant Paul in Romans 12:19 WEB, "Avenge not yourselves, beloved, but give place to God's wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.'"
We also pray for those who have offended Gegromos. Lord, work in their hearts, convicting them of their wrongs and drawing them closer to You. May they come to know the transforming power of Your forgiveness and the new life available through faith in Jesus Christ.
Finally, we ask that You would heal any brokenness that may remain, restoring relationships and bringing peace to all involved. We pray this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, who taught us to pray and to forgive.
Amen.
