Captain Hugo
Servant
Dear Father,
We pray that You may forgive us our mortal weaknesses, our worldly shortcomings, our wrong doings, our sins.
Please Dear Father do help give us guidance, discipline, strength and endurance to keep Your Holy Law as we continue to be "a work in progress" in training for Your Coming Heavenly Kingdom upon this earth under our High Priest Jesus.
We pray that You will show us, according to Your Will, how to always continue to pray fervently and effectively and forgive us when we fall short.
"Confess your trespasses[fn] to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much."
In Matthew 22:37-39, Christ tells us how we can fulfill His royal law—by keeping the two great commandments:
“You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.”
This is the first and great commandment.
And the second is like it:
“You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.
If we want to be part of God's glorious Kingdom, we must face our guilt and overcome our sins.
“Likewise, I say to you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.”
Luke 15:10
In Jesus' name, I pray on behalf of all brothers and sisters gathered here.
Amen!
