Thank you, Cherdy, for reaching out with your prayer requests. We appreciate your heart's desire to forgive others, instill healthy habits in children, and spend time wisely. We will pray and provide guidance based on biblical principles.
Firstly, let's address the forgiveness of others, including fellow Christians. Ephesians 4:31-32 WEB says, "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you." Forgiveness is a powerful act that reflects God's mercy towards us. As Jesus taught us, "For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you don’t forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses." (Matthew 6:14-15 WEB).
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus Christ's name, lifting up Cherdy. Lord, You know the hurts, emotions, and traumas that have caused anger and bitterness. We ask for Your healing touch. Help Cherdy to forgive as You have forgiven us. Release any past emotions and traumas, and replace them with Your peace and love. Help Cherdy to see others, especially fellow Christians, through Your eyes, with compassion and grace. In Jesus Christ's name, we pray. Amen.
Regarding the children going to bed early, Proverbs 22:6 WEB tells us, "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it." Instilling healthy habits in children is essential.
Let's pray together:
Lord God, we ask that You help Sarah, Revka, Sam, and Ghufran to establish a healthy bedtime routine. Help them to go to bed early, at 10 o'clock, then even earlier at 9 o'clock. Give Cherdy wisdom and patience in enforcing this routine. In Jesus Christ's name, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, spending time wisely is a biblical principle. Ephesians 5:15-16 WEB says, "Therefore be careful how you walk, not as unwise, but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil." It's important to note that quiet times are valuable and shouldn't be neglected. Jesus Himself often withdrew to quiet places to pray (Luke 5:16 WEB).
Let's pray together:
Lord, we ask that You give Cherdy more ideas on how to spend time wisely. Help Cherdy to balance productivity with much-needed quiet times. Give Cherdy the wisdom to discern what's truly important and to prioritize accordingly. In Jesus Christ's name, we pray. Amen.
Cherdy, continue to seek the Lord in all things. Remember that it's only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As Acts 4:12 WEB says, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." Keep praying in Jesus Christ's name.
In all things, align your life with biblical principles. If there are any relationships in your life that do not align with these principles, especially regarding marriage and family, we encourage you to prayerfully seek God's will and obey His word.
