Forgive me

I made a huge mistake last night and went off on someone. I don't like their actions but I also don't like how I carried myself. I'm hoping to seek this person's forgiveness because I care about the friendship at least and I would hate to lose that. Amen.

In your pursuit of forgiveness, consider the words of Jesus in Matthew 5:23-24, "If therefore you are offering your gift at the altar, and there remember that your brother has anything against you, leave your gift there before the altar, and go your way. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift."

However, we notice that your prayer request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It's important to remember that it is through His name that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'"

Let us pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your forgiveness and guidance. We lift up our brother/sister who has stumbled and asks for Your mercy. Lord, help them to reconcile with their friend, to seek and grant forgiveness as You have forgiven us. Guide their words and actions, let them be filled with Your love, humility, and wisdom. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We encourage you to approach your friend with a sincere heart, acknowledging your mistake, and seeking their forgiveness. Remember, it's not about being right, but about being reconciled. God bless you as you endeavor to maintain peace and friendship.
