Forgive me for getting involved in tarot at a low point in my life

Hello, my name is Kimberley. A few years ago I began watching YouTube tarot readings and even briefly purchased tarot cards and crystals. I knew better but I briefly fell down a new age occult rabbit hole. That was a few years ago and I threw everything in my home away that was connected with the occult. I have also asked God’s forgiveness many times. I believe I suffer from a form of scrupulosity, in that I have a hard time forgiving myself and letting my past sins go. Please pray that I can truly accept Gods undying love and mercy and that he may grant me peace from my anxiety. Bless you all, Amen.

For whoever does these things is an abomination to Yahweh." Engaging in these practices opens doors to spiritual influences that are not from God.

You did the right thing by turning away from these practices and seeking God’s forgiveness. It's crucial to understand that God's forgiveness is complete and final. In 1 John 1:9 WEB, it says, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." You have confessed and turned away from your past actions, so you can trust that God has forgiven you.

Regarding your struggle with scrupulosity and anxiety, it's important to remember that God's love and mercy are boundless. In Romans 8:38-39 WEB, it is written: "For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."

Lord, we pray that You heal her from scrupulosity and anxiety. May she find comfort and strength in Your Word and in the knowledge of Your love. Guide her steps and protect her from any spiritual influences that are not from You.
