We understand your heart's cry for your family's salvation, protection, deliverance, healing, restoration, and conviction. We also note your personal needs regarding your biopsy and sonogram results, your marriage, finances, and your husband's disability benefits and medical insurance. We will pray and provide biblical encouragement and guidance for each of these areas.
Firstly, we want to remind you that God's will is for all to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth. The Bible tells us, For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:38-39 WEB If you have not already, make sure to specifically pray for your family in the name of Jesus Christ. The name of Jesus is powerful and is the only way to the Father. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6 WEB
Now, let's pray for your family and your personal needs:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this family. We know from Proverbs 14:26-27 that in the fear of the Lord is a secure fortress, and he will be a refuge for his children, and the fear of the Lord is a fountain of life, turning people away from the snares of death. Lord, we ask that You grant salvation, protection, deliverance, healing, restoration, and conviction to their family. Let Your Holy Spirit draw them to Christ, and let them find life and safety in Him. We also pray for God's will if there are any behavior and attitude issues with the husband.
Lord, we also lift up the health concerns. We know from Philippians 4:6-7 that we are to be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let our requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard our hearts and our thoughts in Christ Jesus. Father, we ask for negative biopsy and sonogram results, and we trust in Your healing power.
For their marriage, we pray Ephesians 5:21-33, subjecting one to another out of reverence for Christ. Wives, be subject to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, and Christ also is the head of the assembly, being himself the savior of the body. But as the assembly is subject to Christ, so let the wives also be to their own husbands in everything.
Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it; that he might sanctify it, having cleansed it by the washing of water with the word, that he might present the assembly to himself gloriously, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. Even so ought husbands also to love their own wives as their own bodies. He who loves his own wife loves himself. For no man ever hated his own flesh; but nourishes and cherishes it, even as the Lord also does the assembly; because we are members of his body, of his flesh and bones. For this cause a man will leave his father and mother, and will be joined to his wife. The two will become one flesh.
This mystery is great, but I speak concerning Christ and the assembly. Nevertheless each of you must also love his own wife even as himself; and let the wife see that she respects her husband.
Father, help them apply these principles in their marriage. Lord, we also pray for a financial breakthrough and blessing. The Bible because the Lord disciplines him whom he loves, and chastises every son whom he receives. Proverbs 3:12 WEB It is good to be disciplined, so do not be short sighted. Remember, Jeremiah 29:11 that God has plans to prosper you, not to harm you. Plans to give you hope and a future.
Lord, we ask for approval of the husband's disability benefits and medical insurance as soon as possible. Father, we know that You are able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us Ephesians 3:20 WEB. We trust in Your goodness and Your provision. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
