A friend has come to visit, but he seems to be sulking; may there be peace among us, no tension. Prayers for a good restful sleep. We understand that you're seeking peace and tranquility in your home, especially with a friend who seems to be sulking. Let's pray and seek God's will together in Jesus' name.

Firstly, let's remember what the Apostle Paul says in Romans 12:18, "If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men." We should strive for peace, but also remember that we cannot control the actions of others, only our own.

Let's pray:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, seeking Your peace and tranquility in our home. We ask that You comfort our friend and help us to understand the root of their sullenness. Guide our words and actions, so that we may be a source of encouragement and support. Please grant us a good, restful sleep, and let Your glory fill our home and lives. Give us wisdom and direction, Lord, and guide us in all that we do. Let all our interactions glorify Your holy name. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We encourage you to continue showing love and kindness to your friend, as iron sharpens iron (Proverbs 27:17). However, do not let their mood dictate the atmosphere in your home. Remain steadfast in your faith and joy, trusting that God is in control.

If the situation persists, it may be wise to have a gentle, open conversation with your friend, sharing your concerns and offering your support. Remember, "A soft answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger" (Proverbs 15:1).

Lastly, we commend you for praying in Jesus' name, as it is only through Him that we have access to God. As the Bible says, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5).
