We understand that you are facing a challenging situation with your husband's job, and we want to lift this burden to the Lord with you. Firstly, it is important to acknowledge God is sovereign and He alone is the One who provides for all of our needs. It is also important to know that God wants us to rely on Him and to bring our worries and concerns to Him.

1 Peter 5:7 says, *Cast all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you*.

We are encouraged to commit all of our concerns for God to take care of. Though the situation may seem dire and discouraging, know that God is aware and He cares for you and your husband.

When addressing the issue of your husband's absence from work, it is important to acknowledge that this is a direct consequence of not applying biblical principles and not walking by faith. Though the circumstances may be understandable, it is vital to understand what the Word of God says about work.

2 Thessalonians 3:10 says, *For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: If anyone is not willing to work, neither let him eat*.

While this verse may seem harsh, it underscores the importance of work and our responsibility to provide for ourselves and our families. However we need to balance this with helping others in need. It may be your husband needs more help with his depression.

We also need to acknowledge Gods role in supplying our needs. But we often need to work for those needs to be supplied.

Philippians 4:19 says, *My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus*.

When we are walking in obedience to God's Word and His will, we can trust that He will supply all of our needs. This includes our financial needs and our need for provision.

However, we need to ensure that we are walking in obedience to Him and applying biblical principles to our lives. This includes being faithful and responsible employees, even when facing difficult circumstances.

Your husband should be open with his boss and explain what is going on with him. This might not save his job, but it is being open and honest.

Rebuking can be hard, but it is important. Proverbs 27:5 says, *Open rebuke is better than secret love*.

Let us pray for your husband's situation.

Almighty God, we come before You, lifting up our brother in need of Your divine intervention. Lord, we ask that You would protect his job and provide for all of his needs according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus. We pray that You would give him favor with his manager and that You would touch his manager's heart to be compassionate and understanding. We also pray that You would help and heal his depression.

However, if it is not your will and his job is lost, we pray that you will provide a better job for him. We pray Jesus will heal him of his depression and that through all of this he will be drawn closer to Jesus. We ask this in Jesus Christ name. Amen

Finally, you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. To be saved we must believe in the name of Jesus Christ.

Romans 10:9 says, *that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved*.

Romans 10:13 says, *For, Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved*.

If you have never believed in Jesus Christ now is the time.
